Signe’s apprenticeship test

Signe’s apprenticeship test

Stainless steel juicer

When Signe started as an apprentice at Krima Stålindustri, she wasn’t old enough to sign her own apprenticeship contract.

She had to have her father as her guardian.

Our concerns that she might be too young were quickly put to rest. We’ve had many talented apprentices and Signe is definitely at the top here too. It is also with sadness that she is leaving on February 2nd as she starts at the Danish Emergency Management Agency as of 6/2-2024. It has been a pleasure to have her under our wing and we are proud to pass her on. There’s no doubt that Signe will always be welcome back if she wants to return to the industry.

Signe’s own words:

I have had a really good education at Krima Stålindustri. This can be seen at school, where I feel that I have been given much more responsibility and allowed to stand on my own two feet. I’ve learned a lot that my schoolmates haven’t seen before. At Krima, you learn a lot because you are allowed to. It’s not a sweeping job, but you’re brought into the project and given as much responsibility as a trained blacksmith. This can seem daunting, but there’s always someone on hand if you have any doubts. It’s a quick way to get you on the right track.
